One Foot Forward Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Napa and Solano counties. We run the Community Closet and Best Foot Forward, and we are looking for businesses, foundations and community partners to help us grow in 2027.
What one day made possible
On October 17, 2026, Best Foot Forward gave Napa area women a free career confidence day: a professional outfit to keep, hair and makeup, a headshot, resume help, interview coaching and direct introductions to local employers who are hiring. Here is what participants told us.

Built by local businesses
Best Foot Forward happened because Napa businesses showed up. Teams from NorthBay Health, Napa County, Redwood Credit Union, Redesign To Align and Straight or Knot Salon volunteered to coach, style and welcome participants.
NorthBay Health, Child Start Inc., Lynn & Darla Supported Living, Redwood Credit Union and Stronger Roots Housing came to meet participants face to face.

Name and logo recognition is an acknowledgment, not a purchase. If your sponsorship includes goods or services, such as an employer table, we will give you a written good faith estimate of their fair market value, and the deductible amount is your payment minus that value. We send a written acknowledgment for every gift of $250 or more. Sponsorship amounts and benefits may be adjusted; contact us for current details.
